Just two days ago, we published our fifth episode where we discussed horseshoe crabs and our (now old) logo. Jason quite quickly designed and made that logo towards the start of the year and based it on a particular horseshoe crab fossil which Dean described in 2012. He wanted something recognisable and personal, you can hear them talk all about that specimen in episode five.

If you’ve listened to episode five, you might have noticed that Jason said that he’d be happy for someone to redesign the logo. It happened. Natalia Jagielska, a palaeontologist, illustrator and science communicator, offered a redesign of the logo, using the main design elements – it’s a horseshoe crab with headphones – and adding a bit more colour (though there are black and grey versions) and giving it a much more professional look.
